Oxalis is a first-person exploration and survival game, developed by a six-person team over the course of the Spring 2020 semester for our Advanced Game Development class at Fitchburg State University. I served as a co-producer, concept artist, narrative designer, and level designer for this project.
In Oxalis, the player is the sole survivor of a crash near the intended site for the establishment of the first colony on an alien planet. The player must balance the farming of the Earth-borne plants they brought with them, and the discovery and farming of flora native to Oxalis, in order to establish enough food stores to support the next wave of colonists.
This game is currently still in development.
