PROTOTYPE
jessofarcadia.itch.io/anxiety
Anxiety was part of a three-week development project in my Game Design Workshop course at Fitchburg State University (taken in Fall 2019). This project was developed by a three-person team. I was the producer, level designer, and narrative designer.
This two-player horror game was developed for an arcade cabinet. Players must work together to fend off crawling monsters and explore a haunted manor, with only the limited visibility of their flashlights available to them. Each time a character is damaged by a monster, the beam of their flashlight shrinks. Players can only escape by working together, and once a flashlight dies the game is lost.
This game is a playable prototype, and at this time development has stopped.
